James Chan, Singapore
This young Irish Traditional Flute musician began learning Irish Traditional Music on youtube in 2009, and has rapidly emerged as a musician, performing at various public and private events. He recently secured funding to represent Singapore at the 2018 Irish National Championships in Music and Dance in Drogheda, Ireland.
Diagnosed with Autism in 2017, James has since become very active in the disability community in Singapore, working closely with the Disabled People’s Association as an Inclusion Ambassador, and taking part in Deaf HangOut, a social and community event held by the Deaf community.
Robert Tan, Singapore
Busker and part-time music teacher Robert Tan started playing music when he was just 8 years old. Trained in classical and jazz music, Robert plays the piano and other musical instruments such as the guitar, bamboo flute, English flute and trumpet and is known for his ability to hear a song once and then play it from memory.
Adelyn Koh, Singapore
Adelyn has had a gift for music ever since she began playing the piano at age 3, and today, she also plays the guitar and violin, and sings. She plays from memory, has produced two albums to date and has performed at the National Day Parade and hosted the Presidents Star Charity three times.
